Ooopsie Woopsie

A Breguet watch on Patriarch Kirill I, left, vanished in a doctored photo, but its reflection on the table remained. The Russian Orthodox Church Web site later restored it.

I don't mean to take a swipe at a holy man on Good Friday but this story is too hilarious not to share. I guess it's not a good thing in Russia for the leader of the Orthodox Church to be seen wearing a 30,000 watch. It's goes against everything they preach about poverty being the true path to heaven.

Eh, he's probably not going to Heaven anyway. Not with those clothes.

Now, see, I think they got it backwards. I think his supremeness is just so incredible that his reflection can't help but show his true inner unmatched greatness. So the truth is, they had to photoshop a $30,000 watch ONTO his wrist to match his reflection. The media once again twisted the truth.

You should work in the P.R. department for the Orthodox religion. Maybe they will give you a special hat...everyone in that group gets a hat.
