Azimov

He was a sweet man but his three rules of robotics are hopelessly naive. Any person who wants to build a robot would never eliminate the 'kill human option'.

Bitchin' Mutton Chops. Always admired them, myself. I threaten to cut my beard that way a couple of times a year buy I've never followed through with it.

I never met Dr. Asimov but Harlan Ellison was a good friend of his and he told me the last joke that the Dr. told him before he died.

"Washington has the highest per capita number of lawyers, while New Jersey has the highest per capita numbers of toxic waste dumps. Why is this so?

New Jersey had first choice."

I just started the Foundation series. I haven't read them since the 90s. Love the robot/ Elijah Bailey stories too. One of the legends and rightly so.
Paladin, go ahead and do it. I had a beard for about 10 yrs., then I got a wild hair and shaved the middle part out and had pretty good mutton chops for about 3 yrs. I sent Cal a photo of me, so he can attest. I got tired of them and shaved them off, but I liked the chops. My wife took to calling me goatboy. Big joke around the house.

I would have loved to be a fly on the wall for a conversation between Azimov and Ellison. I admire both there speculative fiction too much.

Azimov was so fun with such a great sense of humor and humility.
