1954 Karlsson Cat Levitator

"Cats love anti gravity. I bet you didn’t know that. This device was invented by Swedish immigrant Per Karlsson in the early 50s, and a small series was produced in Wellington for a while. But people didn’t go for it as much as Karlsson had hoped; maybe because they didn’t fancy having the cat hover around too much. In case you’re wondering what the little cap with the “antlers” is the cat is wearing on its head, it’s the mind reader. The cat steers the machine with her thoughts, because, how else would she."

That is genius. Wonder if there was a dog version! YOU know this was used for evil. Those little birds don't have a chance.

Why would you automatically suspect that cat would only do evil. Maybe he was out delivering toys to orphan dogs at Christmas time...naw, even I can't fake that. We all know he was floating dropping his poops on all his enemies from a great height and then movie on. No hiding in the tree for Tweety anymore.

Yeah, that cat looks pleased.

I was born in Wellington and now this explains all the flying cats! There's a easier way to create an anti-gravity cat. Simply tie a piece of buttered toast to the cats back. Buttered side up. Drop the cat. As cats always land on their feet but toast always lands buttered side down the cat will simply stay suspended in the air... Probably.

I think you have figured the secret we have all been searhing for - similar forces repel, while oppostie forces attract. But that is a waste of alot of toast unless you just want him to hover.
