J Bones' Doom Patrol

This is why Canadian artist J Bone should be drawing an action hero cartoon, any cartoon. From 'Alpha Flight' to this awesome 'Doom Patrol' page he has the right mix of talents to bring life to these long time favorites of mine. No wonder they are the concept that just won't die. Volume 5 is the current retcon for the Doom Patrol isn't it? I need this kind of art in my comic diet to balance out so much of the sameness that is out there. And shouldn't the Doom Patrol be the first superhero team a kid discovers? All the best elements of a team book are there. Its not a bad message to send to children that despite the fact that these characters became 'freaks' through tragic accidents, they choose to step up and become heroes when called.
